meet gretchen heine

Gretchen Heine, Broker Associate. Boulder County. Relocation Specialist. Wellness Advocate.

Gretchen Heine knows what makes a home worth living in.

After decades working at the intersection of community, environment, and place in real estate, in nonprofits, and in the field, she came back to the Front Range market with a sharper eye and a different kind of question: not just where do you want to live, but how do you want to live?

Real Estate, Redefined

Gretchen has been in and around real estate since the early 90s, but what sets her apart today is not tenure, it is perspective. She spent 15 years outside the industry working in startups and nonprofits, building organizations, managing people, and learning how communities actually function. When she returned to real estate, she brought all of that with her.

Today she serves buyers, sellers, and relocating clients across Boulder County and the Front Range, including Boulder, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Erie, Broomfield, and beyond, with a practice built on deep market knowledge, honest counsel, and the kind of follow-through that turns first-time clients into lifelong ones.

Your Home Should Work For You

Gretchen is one of a small number of Front Range brokers actively integrating wellness and longevity into her real estate practice. She holds the NAR Green Designation and advises clients on the features that matter most for long-term health and quality of life, including clean indoor air, natural light, energy performance, and spaces designed for rest and restoration.

She believes the next chapter of real estate is not just about location and square footage. It is about building a life that lasts, and finding a home that actively supports it.

Built for Relocation

Gretchen has a particular talent for guiding people through big transitions. Her national and international relocation clients trust her not just to find them a property, but to help them land softly in a new place, understanding neighborhoods, school options, lifestyle fit, and what it actually feels like to put down roots on the Front Range. She listens first, and she does not stop until you feel at home.

Off the Clock

When she is not working, Gretchen is most likely on a trail, on a rock face, or reading a book. She lives in Lafayette with her husband, a local firefighter, and her grown daughters nearby. Her toy poodle Lucy is a daily adventure companion and, if you ask Gretchen, a very good judge of character.
