/Did you know that there are no-cost or low-cost ways you can reduce your water usage? In an effort to minimize your carbon footprint, save energy, and protect our regional supply of water, consider implementing the following suggestions:
Lawn Removal. Check with your local water provider/city for their low-cost lawn removal programs.
Pay Attention to Indoor Water Usage. Start noticing when you are using water at home.
Shorten your shower, turn off the water when brushing your teeth, only do full loads of laundry and turn the sink faucet on only to rinse.
Install Low-Flow. Install a water-saving toilet flush system and immediately start saving water.
Check & Repair Water Leaks. Even small leaks can waste hundreds to thousands of gallons of water a month.
Select Energy Approved Clothes Washer. They use 15-20 less gallons of water per load, and you will see savings on your energy costs too.
